New age Shipping Solutions provides cargo delivery service via ocean to most islands in the Caribbean and to some South American countries (Guyana and Suriname). Weekly sailings are available, from ports in New York and Florida. The estimated transit time is usually two to three weeks from the time of cargo pick-up, barring no delays.

We offer door to door services to select countries as well as pre-clearance. We can custom crate or securely package any size cargo for safe shipment, additionally we can provide scope of works for returning residents or anyone desiring to ship full container loads.

Our company primarily ships to the Caribbean. Click the link for a  full list of countries (Caribbean locations).

We currently have weight guidelines of 300 pounds per barrel and up to 250 pounds per commercial bin. This is to help protect the structural integrity of your barrel/bin and the contents within. Management reserves the right to refuse any barrel/bin that is deemed excessively overweight or to apply a per pound overweight-handling fee. For your convenience, we can weigh your cargo upon pick-up.

  • Prohibited items cannot be shipped (firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, explosives, or any other items deemed prohibitive by destination country).
  • Shipping of glassware and other fragile items is not advised unless properly packaged or crated.
  • Perishable goods should not be shipped (such as certain fruits and vegetables).
  • Detergents or other liquids should be properly secured and separated from any food, clothing, or other personal effects in the barrel/box.

There is usually a sailing every week*. The average transit time however is between two and three weeks.

The large/jumbo barrel has a volume of 77 gallons with height dimensions of approx 3 feet 9 inches and a diameter opening of 22 inches wide.

We pick up cargo Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm and between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm on Saturdays. As little as 24 hours of advanced notice is required for certain locations. In some instances, a same-day pick-up can be arranged based on the availability of drivers.

Having received your quote and agreeing to the terms, you can then proceed to schedule a pick-up via our service scheduler. Please note that an appointment date might be subject to prior approval and may not be guaranteed during peak times.

To ensure the best possible rate and accuracy of the information provided, customers are required to fill out our online request a quote form. The customer’s personal data is never stored. By pre-filling this form, the information provided enables our company to calculate fair, consistent, and the most accurate rates for all our customers.
